Arsenal are still holding to the top spot in the Premier League table and this coming weekend, they will take on Leeds United.

The Gunners have lost just three league matches so far this season and they are unbeaten in their last 10 meeting against Leeds United. Every match is a must-win for Arsenal because Manchester City are breathing down their necks so anything other than a win and City will come within touching distance of the league leaders.

Arsenal are the favourites to win on Saturday but the Elland Road outfit are picking up pace under Javi Gracia. Leeds have lost just one league game under their new manager so the Gunners will have to be on their toes.

The North London side were knocked out of the Europa League so they only have the Premier League to look forward to. Mikel Arteta and the boys will now need to put all their focus on keeping Manchester City at bay and remain at the top until the end of May.

Arsenal’s team news and injuries:

William Saliba picked up a back injury during Arsenal’s game against Sporting and he did not feature for his national side during the international break.

The extent of his injury is not known yet but there’s a chance he could be ruled out for this weekend’s match.

Takehiro Tomiyasu has undergone surgery to repair ligament damage and he will be out for the remainder of the season. Kieran Tierney is another full-back who’s picked up an injury but both of these players are not regular starters for Arsenal.

Thomas Partey was left out during Ghana’s clash against Angola as a precaution and there’s a chance he could miss the Leeds United game as well. We will only know about his injury once Mikel Arteta holds his press conference.

If Partey is not fit then it will be a massive headache for the Arsenal boss because midfield is the only region where his squad lacks depth.

Elneny is already ruled out and now if Thomas Partey also misses out then Jorginho and Granit Xhaka will have to pair up in the middle of the pitch against Leeds United.

Arsenal predicted line up vs Leeds United:

Predicted Starting Line Up(4-3-3): Ramsdale; Zinchenko, Holding/Saliba, Gabriel, Ben White; Xhaka, Thomas Partey/Jorginho, Odegaard; Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka.
