Arsenal beat Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday and next up, they are going to face Manchester City in the 4th round of the FA Cup.

The Gunners are the in-form team in England this season and so far, they have suffered only a single defeat in the EPL. Any other year and they would be the underdogs in a game vs Man City but this time around Arsenal are actually the favourites to knock out Pep Guardiola’s side.

This is an away game for the North London side and they are undefeated in five away matches. After how they performed against Man United, we seriously think Arsenal should win in midweek but beating a Guardiola side won’t be a walk in the park.

On paper, these are two very evenly matched teams but based on how they performed on Sunday, it won’t be a surprise at all if Arsenal move on to the next round.

Arsenal’s team news and injuries:

The Gunners have a very thin squad so Mikel Arteta doesn’t have the luxury to make too many rotations. Hence most of the people who played against Man United will start on Friday as well.

Tomiyasu played the second half on Sunday but we don’t think he will be given a start against Manchester City. It’s Ben White who is going to play on the right-hand side of defence.

Arteta has the option of Kieran Tierney at left-back but there’s no way the manager is going to bench Zinchenko.

Leandro Trossard played for 10-odd minutes on Sunday and the new signing made a great impact so he is in line to make a start at the Etihad Stadium. If he comes in then Gabriel Martinelli will be moving onto the bench.

Gabriel Jesus is still out injured which means Eddie Nketiah is going to lead the line with Bukayo Saka playing on the right wing.
