Arsenal have finally gotten their act together and after sitting at the bottom of the table for some time, the Gunners have managed to climb up to the sixth spot.

Next up, Arsenal take on Watford and they go into this game at the back of a superb 2-0 win against Leicester City. A win on Sunday could temporarily push the Gunners into the top four.

The North London are unbeaten in their previous nine matches and have won seven of those games. Watford, on the other hand, have won only one of their previous five Premier League encounters.

Mikel Arteta seems to have finally figured out what his best starting XI is and now with only two injury absentees, the manager should be able to name his strongest side on Sunday. The kind of form they are in right now, the fans will be expecting nothing less than all three points from Arsenal.

Arsenal team news vs Watford:

Aaron Ramsdale has justified his price tag with his superb performances in recent weeks and the summer signing is now officially the current No 1 at the club.

Ben White and Gabriel have also managed to get their act together after that initial spell of hesitancy so, barring an injury, both of them will start on Sunday.

Keiran Tierney is one of the injury concerns and there’s a big chance that he might not feature against Watford. In such a scenario, Nuno Tavares will play as the right-back with Tomiyasu playing on the left.

Granit Xhaka remains a long-term absentee as he recovers from his knee injury and this gives young Lokonga to get some more minutes under his belt in central midfield.

Martin Odegaard and Nicolas Pepe will both be pushing for starts but since Arsenal are not playing midweek fixtures, the manager does not need to change anything.

Emile Smith Rowe should be operating as the attacking midfielder with Bukayo Saka playing on the right-hand side of attack. The above-mentioned pair might come on as subs sometime in the second half.

Alexandre Lacazette has suddenly moved up the pecking order and he is a guaranteed starter for Arsenal on Sunday. The Frenchman will lead the line, playing in tandem with Aubameyang.

Arsenal predicted line up vs Watford:

Predicted Line up(4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; Tavares, White, Gabriel, Tomiyasu; Lokonga, Thomas Partey; Smith Rowe, Aubameyang, Bukayo Saka; Lacazette.
