Arsenal drew their previous Premier League encounter 1-1 against Leicester City and next up they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby.

The Gunners have been on a roll during the past couple of matches and they will be taking on Spurs at the perfect time since Mourinho’s men are really short of confidence right now.

Arsenal have not tasted defeat in their previous four league matches and with the kind of shift they put in against the Foxes, there’s every chance that Mikel Arteta’s men could pick up all three points at the Hotspur stadium on Sunday.

Arteta does have a few injury concerns going into the Derby but most of his regular starters are fit and available for selection meaning the manager should be able to name a strong side.

Arsenal team news vs Spurs:

Bernd Leno remains injured meaning Martinez will play in goal while the manager should opt for a three-man defensive line once again.

The Gunners will be without Calum Chambers and Pablo Mari so David Luiz will be partnered by Kolasinac and Mustafi in defence while Sokratis starts on the bench.

Rob Holding is also available for selection but we doubt if the manager will want to tinker with his defence during such a big encounter.

Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos have formed a great partnership in central midfield for the Gunners and the pair will start against Spurs as well. Lucas Torreira came off the bench against the Foxes and the South American will perform the same role on Sunday as well.

Mesut Ozil should be back to full fitness after picking up a lower back injury but we don’t think the German will find a place in the matchday squad.

Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney have been stellar as the two wings back for Arsenal and they will once again be named in the starting XI.

Nicolas Pepe is available for selection but young Bukayo Saka did a fantastic job playing as the right-winger against Leicester City which is why we doubt if the manager will want to change anything.

Eddie Nketiah remains suspended after picking up a red card in midweek meaning Alexandre Lacazette will start up front during the derby. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored Arsenal’s only goal against Leicester and the Gabon international is a guaranteed starter on Sunday.

Arsenal’s predicted XI vs Spurs:

Predicted starting XI: Martinez; Luiz, Mustafi, Sead Kolasinac; Dani Ceballos, Xhaka, Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney; Aubameyang, Saka/Pepe, Lacazette.
