Despite interest from a number of big clubs, Arsenal are currently the favourites to land Adrien Rabiot from Juventus at the end of the 2019-20 season – as per a report by Calciomercato.

Juventus have asked all their players to return back to training but as per the report, Adrien Rabiot has not rejoined the squad and it’s being claimed that he wishes to join a new club in the summer.

Rabiot moved to Italy from PSG last summer on a free transfer but things have certainly not panned out too well for the 25-year-old as this season he’s played in only 17 Serie A games for the Turin outfit.

With three years still left on his current deal, the midfielder is looking to head out of Italy and the Premier League seems to be his next destination.

Calciomercato are reporting: “Rabiot wants to leave. As reported by the French footmercato, the midfielder would soon leave Turin.

“In these days most of the Juventus squad has returned to the Vinovo facilities to resume training.

“Rabiot would seem to have no more desire to set foot in Turin again. Indeed, the midfielder is hoping to move to England soon.”

Is Adrien Rabiot on his way to Italy?

This is not the first time Arsenal have shown interest in the midfielder since last summer they wanted to sign him as a free agent. And apart from the Gunners, Everton also wanted his services at the start of this current year.

Adrien Rabiot seems to have held talks with Mikel Arteta which is why Arsenal are right now at the front of the queue to sign the Juventus misfit but we think Everton still have a fighting chance to sign him at the end of the season.

The Toffees are currently being managed by Carlo Ancelotti and the Italian is without a doubt one of the top managers in world football. So despite Arsenal being the frontrunners in signing Rabiot, there’s still a chance that Everton might swoop in and snatch the 25-year-old from right under Arsenal’s nose.

As per TransferMarkt, Adrien Rabiot is currently valued at €25 million which makes him a perfect target for the Gunners. But before Arteta can convince the Frenchman to move to the Emirates, the manager will have to dump a couple of his lack-lustre midfielders.
