Arsenal picked up a massive 3-1 win over Leicester City last weekend and this coming Saturday they face Burnley at Turf Moor in the Premier League.

The Gunners are currently 10th on the league table and their hopes of finishing in the top-four have more or less evaporated. But that won’t stop the North London side from giving their best for the remainder of the season, especially with teams above them continuously dropping points.

Arsenal have won just two out of their previous five league matches but they are undefeated in their last 6 away matches against Burnley in all competitions and have also gotten a full weeks rest. So, all in all, it’s the Gunners who are the favourites to come out as winners on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta though will have one eye on Arsenal’s Europa League game next week and this could prompt the manager to rest a few of his regular starters this weekend.

Arsenal team news vs Burnley:

David Luiz and Pablo Mari started in defence vs Leicester but Rob Holding is expected to come back into the side this weekend, replacing Mari. Gabriel is also available if the manager wishes to rest David Luiz as well.

Partey came off the bench last Sunday but the summer signing is going to start in central midfield alongside Granit Xhaka at Turf Moor.

With Smith Rowe likely to miss out with an injury, Odegaard could be deployed in that attacking midfielder’s role. If Odegaard starts then Dani Ceballos will once again have to be content with a place on the bench.

Bukayo Saka was shockingly left out of the squad last weekend against Leicester City and given the fact that Arsenal have a key Europa League game coming up, the manager could once again choose to rest the youngster.

If Saka starts on the bench then Nicolas Pepe will occupy the right flank.

Willian has been really underwhelming this season but the Brazilian could be named in the starting line up on Saturday, if Lacazette drops to the bench.

Aubameyang was another big-name player who was missing from the first XI during Arsenal’s win against the Foxes but the Gabon international should be back against Burnley.
