Arsenal have seen a slump in form once again in the Premier League but they will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they take on Leeds United on Sunday.

The Gunners have failed to pick up a win in their last five league matches and going into this weekend’s game, they are 11th on the table with 31 points.

Arsenal are undefeated in their last 5 home matches which should be a saving grace for Mikel Arteta but it’s Biels’a side who are the in-form side having won three of their last five league games.

Arteta will get a few players back from suspension and midfielder Thomas Partey should also be declared fit before Sunday meaning the Gunners boss will be able to name his strongest side against the Elland Road outfit.

Arsenal team news vs Leeds United:

Bernd Leno will come back from suspension and will straight away reprise his role in front of goal on Sunday.

Centre-back David Luiz is also back from suspension and will replace Gabriel in defence while Rob Holding keeps his place. Kieran Tierney is still recovering from his calf injury and hopefully, he will be fit and available for selection this weekend vs Leeds.

Thomas Partey had to be taken off during the Aston Villa game with a thigh injury but the latest reports claim his injury is not too serious and he is expected to feature in the matchday squad on Sunday. Granit Xhaka reprises his role in central midfield.

Martin Odegaard is yet to make his full debut since joining the club in January but this weekend too the loanee will have to be content with a place on the bench as Emile Smith Rowe will likely feature in the starting XI.

Nicolas Pepe has been in decent form during the past couple of matches but now with Aubameyang back, the Gabon international will take back his spot on the left wing meaning Pepe will miss out.

Some reports claim Nicolas Pepe might up used up front by the Arsenal boss but we doubt if Arteta will want to drop Alexandre Lacazette to the bench. Bukayo Saka starts on the right flank.
