Arsenal take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Thursday and before the game, the club have provided some really positive news from the medical room.

The first and most important update was for Gabriel Martinelli who had injured his ankle during warmup before Arsenal’s FA Cup clash on Saturday. The club have confirmed that the youngster’s injury is not too serious and he should be back in action within the next few days.

Apart from Martinelli, Arsenal have also confirmed that Thomas Partey and defender Gabriel are back to full fitness and available for selection for Thursday’s match.

The update on Arsenal’s official website read:

Gabriel Martinelli:

Right ankle. Gabi turned his right ankle during the warm-up against Newcastle United on Saturday and was subsequently taken out of the starting line-up. Gabi has progressed very well and we’re hoping that he will return to full training with the squad in the next few days.

Gabriel Magalhaes:

Gabriel is now back in full training and is available for selection for Thursday’s match.

Thomas Partey:

Thomas is now back in full training with the squad after recovering from an injury to the left thigh. Thomas continues to regain full fitness and will be assessed ahead of Thursday’s match.

Martinelli is not going to be fit in time for the Arsenal vs Crystal Palace match on Thursday but Gabriel Magalhaes is sure to start in central defence.

Thomas Partey will most likely be touch and go since Arteta will not want to push things. We feel the summer signing should be fit enough to be named on the bench and could come on towards the end of the match.
