Arsenal suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Manchester City last weekend in the Premier League and this time they head to Goodison Park to take on Everton.

Everton and the Gunners both have been going through a similar phase this season but ever since Duncan Ferguson took charge of the club, the Toffees have seen a slight change in fortune.

But for Arsenal, things have gotten from bad to worse ever since they sacked Unai Emery and last weekend, they must have put out their own performances in quite some time.

The home side looked toothless all throughout the match – so much so that Man City were able to wrap up all three points within the first 45 minutes itself.

According to Michael Owen though, Arsenal cannot surely perform as badly as they did vs the defending champions but despite all their best efforts, it will be Everton who will likely pick up all the three points.

“Arsenal only had one shot on target against Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday, and that was in the opening minute of the game,” the pundit wrote.

“The Gunners cannot play as badly at Goodison in Saturday’s early kick-off although I think Everton will edge a game between two clubs who, at the time of writing, are both looking for a new permanent manager.

“The Blues have picked up four points in two games under caretaker Duncan Ferguson and, although they are struggling with injuries, I expect them to win back-to-back home league games.

“It will be fascinating to see if either club appoint a new manager before the weekend with Carlo Ancelotti reported to be Everton’s preferred choice and former Everton and Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta, seemingly, in pole position to take over at the Emirates.”

Arsenal are expected to be managed by Freddie Ljungberg even if they announce their new manager and there’s very little the interim boss can now do in order to lift the spirits of the players.

Everton have the likes of Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison who are blessed with superb pace and with such a shaky defence, the North London outfit are sure to have some headaches when they take the pitch at Goodison Park on Saturday.
