In the last week, Arsenal had launched a bid for Juventus’ Cuadrado. But if reports are to be believed then Arsenal’s bid for Cuadrado has been rejected by Juventus.

Juan Cuadrado had joined Chelsea in 2015 hoping to make an impact in the Premier League. But things did not go as planned and Chelsea eventually loaned the player out to Juventus for two seasons. And in these two seasons, Cuadrado had some fine performances. As a result of which Juventus signed him permanently this summer.

Arsenal's bid for Cuadrado has been rejected
Cuadrado spent two years on loan with Juve before making the deal permanent.

But Arsenal had their eyes set on the Colombian for a rather long time and made a bid to bring the player to the club. But as per the news, Juventus have been swift to reject the bid which was estimated to be in the region of €20 million.

Arsenal are readying themselves for a major setback as Sanchez is all set to leave the club. And Wenger is desperate to find a replacement for the Chilean. But what is rather amusing is that Arsenal had made an offer of the same amount with which Juventus bought Cuadrado from Chelsea. No wonder Arsenal’s bid for Cuadrado has been rejected so quickly.

If Wenger is serious about signing the 29-year-old then his next bid should be much higher. And if the transfer grapevines are to believed then London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also joined the race to sign Cuadrado.
