Aston Villa vs Liverpool – Team news, injuries, prediction & betting odds

Jack Grealish Aston Villa

Liverpool managed to squeeze past Arsenal in the Carabao Cup in midweek and next up they travel to Villa Park to face Dean Smith’s Aston Villa.

Villa have made a pretty decent start to their Premier League campaign but their loss to Man City last week would have surely punctured a few confidences especially since they had won two straight games before that.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have managed to drop just two points so far this season and that game against their arch-rivals Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently unbeaten in 27 Premier League matches and they will be hoping to pick up all three points on Saturday in order to maintain their lead at the top of the table.
