Atletico Madrid take on Chelsea in the Champions League Round of 16 this week and Diego Simeone seems to have a very clear idea of what he expects from his side.

Atletico go into this second leg with a 1-0 deficit so the Spanish side have no other option but to throw the kitchen sink at the Premier League side in the hopes that they can get the away goal.

And according to the Atletico Madrid manager, attack will be the only solution to unlocking the Chelsea defence since the London side have no idea how to respond to a setback under the guidance of their new manager.

“I believe Suarez is very important for us,” he said, as quoted by Standard. “Probably tomorrow is the right day for Luis Suarez to end the (goalless) streak. Why not? Tomorrow could be a beautiful day.

“I believe today Chelsea don’t have a weakness. The only thing is they don’t know what can happen from a negative point of view. They have not had a negative result yet and that will be a question until it happens.”

“We are facing a team that has done quite well since their coach has come, they have never lost. They feel strong at home and are playing quite well.

“They have had games like us around the Champions League matches that have been close and tough. Tomorrow, we just have one result, to win. We have to take the match where we want so we can win with a goal.

“The single idea is to win. You can start winning in minute 84 or minute 10 because they are all possible results. The aim is to take the match to them after the second leg for the situations to be improved.

“We don’t know how they will think about the match, but I know what we want from the match which is to win it.”

Chelsea are yet to taste defeat since Thomas Tuchel took charge of the side and it will truly be interesting to see how the manager will reorganize his side if they do fall behind on Wednesday.

Atletico Madrid have the firepower to score against the Blues but Simeone will be urging his side to pick up that away goal as early as possible so the onus is on Chelsea once again and it allows his own team to play their natural game.
