Ivory Coast were knocked out of the African Cup of Nations on Tuesday. As a result of which Eric Bailly is heading back to Manchester. But Mourinho has confirmed in his press conference that he will not eligible for the EFL Cup match against Hull City.

One of the pre-tournament favourites Ivory Coast were knocked out of the AFCON after they lost their match against Morocco. This comes days after another favourite Algeria were knocked out. Even though Bailly will be an important addition to the squad but he might not be missed in the Hull City game. Mourinho confirmed that Marco Rojo is eligible for selection as he missed the previous game due to illness.

There was also a light moment during the press conference as Mourinho was seen sporting a new haircut. When he was asked about the reasons behind his new buzzcut, he jokingly said that he was ready for war. Mourinho also sported the same cut in 2013. He also said that it was a privilege as he will easily grow back his hair within a month. Hinting at Pep maybe? Who knows?

Manchester United are set to face Hull City in the second round semi-final of the EFL Cup at the KC Stadium.
