Marcus Rashford England Man United to Barcelona

Luis Suarez has been a fine servant to Barcelona ever since he joined the Catalan club from Liverpool a couple of seasons ago and this campaign he has already managed to net 4 goals in just 6 games in the league.

But the Uruguayan turns 33 in January of next year and there have been rumours the striker will be moving out of Camp Nou at the end of the 2019-20 season. And this is why Barcelona have already started looking for replacements.

As per reports, the club have drawn up a list of the possible candidates who could serve as long-term replacements for Luis Suarez.

Major publications in Spain claim that Barcelona are looking at players from the Premier League clubs and names like Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane have been constantly coming up at the forefront.

According to the rumours, Barca could make a move for Man United’s Rashford or Spurs striker Harry Kane during the next summer transfer window.

Apart from these two players, the La Liga club are also keeping tabs on Kylian Mbappe and Milan forward Lautaro Martinez as possible replacements to Luis Suarez.

It is still unclear as to which forward is the first preference for the Barcelona management but given the amount that they would have to spend, Mbappe will surely be a tough player to get.

But what is most shocking about this list is the absence of Roberto Firmino from it.

As per reports, Barcelona have been eyeing a move for Firmino for a number of seasons now but shocking this list does not have his name.

So either Barca have already understood that Jurgen Klopp would not let the Brazilian leave next summer or they have found someone better(read: Harry Kane) to replace Luis Suarez.

Harry Kane has obviously been in top form for Spurs during the past couple of seasons but this season the Lilywhites have seen a dip in form which is the ideal scenario which might force the England captain to move out of London next year.

And as for Marcus Rashford, the Man United man is surely at the bottom of the list and we believe Barcelona will make a move for him only when everyone else turns them down.
