Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has identified Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata as the main threat in the Blues side.

Speaking after the Champions League draw which has slotted the current Spanish league leaders against Chelsea, Valverde said(quoted by Football London), “It’s a tough draw for us because of the magnitude of the opposition,

“Chelsea are champions of the Premier League but we’re excited about the tie, even though it will be difficult. Chelsea are a strong and physical team, with a clear tactical system in place.

“They take advantage of the physical nature of the Premier League well. “With the signing of Morata, they’ve added pace in attack.”

While we agree with the Barcelona manager that Morata has slotted in perfectly with the Chelsea team but if we were in Valverde’s shoes then we would be focusing more on how to stop Eden Hazard. The Belgium has been playing some of the finest football of his Chelsea career and he can early be the trump card for Antonio Conte during the two-legged tie against Barcelona.

Watch out, Valverde.
