Barcelona welcome Man United in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at Camp Nou on Tuesday.

And without a doubt, Ernesto Valverde’s side are the favourites to progress to the semi-finals given they are playing the match at home and they also have that precious away goal from the first leg.

While it sure is a mountain to climb for Solskjaer and his boys but the Norwegian will surely be optimistic given they performed pretty well during the reverse fixture barring the fact that they could not manage to get a shot on target during the whole 90 minutes.

Barcelona news vs Man United:

The backline for Barcelona should remain unchanged from the first leg with Jordi Alba and Semedo playing as the left and right full back respectively while Lenglet and Gerrard Pigue partner up in central defence.

Sergio Busquets provided the key pass which eventually led to the goal during the first leg but apart from that, the midfielder had a really poor outing at Old Trafford. But the Spaniard still remains a key part of Valverde’s plans and is scheduled to start on Tuesday at the Camp Nou.

Arturo Vidal came off the bench at Old Trafford but he is expected to start on the left-hand side of midfield replacing Arthur who will drop back to the bench.

Ivan Rakitic will keep his place as the right-sided midfielder.

Ousmane Dembele was still recovering from an injury during the first leg and remained an unused substitute during the first leg. But the Frenchman should get the nod this time around which means Philippe Coutinho will have no role to play – at least from the very beginning.

Suarez and Lionel Messi are the other two attackers – no prizes for guessing.

Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde rested most of his first team regulars during the weekend draw vs Huesca which clearly suggest the Catalan boss has his focus on beating Man United on Tuesday.
