Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has hinted that he could very well be on his way out of Germany during the summer in search of a new challenge.

Muller has been a one-club man up until now, having come up from the ranks at the Bavarian outfit. The 28-year-old made his debut for Bayern Munich back in the 2008-09 season and since then the German International has made 440 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit scoring 176 goals.

In the past, there had been a couple of reports that Muller has attracted interest from a series of top European clubs but those reports were purely gossip than anything else.

Now though, the player himself has gone onto claim that a move out of Bayern Munich in search of a new challenge would be an exciting prospect.

Muller told Welt Am Sonntag: “Another task would certainly be interesting and attractive,

“If the situation is different, a lot can happen.

“Basically, it is very difficult to get away from Bayern. Currently, I have no thoughts to do something else.”

The 28-year-old’s current contract with Bayern Munich runs until 2021 but with the forward inclined towards joining a new club, a lot of European clubs will surely be excited to place bids for him.

Previously Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in signing him up and it should not come as a total surprise if both these clubs once again move for Muller at the end of the World Cup.

Real Madrid are another club who are said to be keeping a keen eye on Thomas Muller and with Florentino Perez looking forward to making a couple of new signings during the summer transfer window, the Bayern Munich forward might just be one of them.
