According to The Telegraph, Bayern Munich are preparing a 55 million pound bid to land Alexis Sanchez in Germany.
With his future in doubt at Arsenal, Sanchez has attracted attention from a host of top European clubs. Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Juventus and Chelsea are all said to be interested in signing the Chilean international.
And it looks as if Bayern have just joined the race. Bayern have had a disappointing season in Europe and will be looking to strengthen their squad. They will go all out to bring Sanchez to Germany. And if the reports are right, then the German champions will be favourites to sign the Arsenal star.
Alexis Sanchez joined the club from Spanish club Barcelona in 2014. He has managed to play for three seasons for the London club. And in these three seasons, Sanchez has managed to become one of the most important players in Wenger’s squad.
Sanchez’s career at the Emirates has been under cloudy circumstances for quite some time now. And there is a high probability that Alexis Sanchez will head for the exit doors at the end of the season.
Wenger is set to lose another star performer as Mesut Ozil might also seek a new challenge come the new season. If both players decide to leave during the summer transfer window then it will be a huge blow for Arsenal.
