Arsenal put out their finest performance of the current season so far as Wenger’s men defeated Tottenham Hotspur with a scoreline of 2-0. First-half goals from Mustafi and Sanchez were enough to give the Gunners all three points and this match was easily the finest performance from Wenger’s men this campaign.
But it looks like BBC’s MOTD programme does not view it in a similar light.
When the programme decided to air the highlight of the Arsenal vs Spurs game it looks as if Pochettino’s men has dominated the whole game. The highlights were presented in such a way that it gave the impression that Wenger’s men were lucky to get all the three points- but we can assure you that was not the case.
This Saturday’s match against Spurs was great for Arsenal in every sense. Not only did the Gunners show some great attacking valour but they were also very strong defensively. Arsenal’s defenders managed to keep the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli in check for the whole of the match.
Sadly though, BBC’s MOTD begs to differ.
If you think this bit was weird then wait till you hear the next part. While BBC were showing the highlights based on a Spurs dominated game, pundit Alan Shearer went on to claim that Arsenal were by far the better team during the match – which was a total contrast to the highlights.
And this not synchronization of the highlights and the pundits have left the Gooners very much confused.
Here’s how the fans reacted:
Alan Shearer confusing everyone who didn't watch the match live by saying Arsenal by far the better team despite their own highlights package showing the opposite.

A minute into #motd coverage of the the NLD and it's already appearing like they've edited it to look a LOT more even than it was #ARSTOT #Arsenal
