In a landmark decision, UEFA have finally decided to postpone the EURO 2020 till the next summer – as per reports.
Sky Sports are reporting: “UEFA has postponed Euro 2020 until the summer of 2021 to allow European leagues more time to complete their seasons amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“The news was first confirmed by the Norwegian FA on social media. According to their tweet, the completion will be played between June 11 and July 11, 2021.
“The decision comes after UEFA held conference calls with its 55 member associations, the board of the European Club Association and the board of the European Leagues.”

This will be all the leagues that have been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak now have a chance of finishing their remaining games so that they can maintain their schedule and follow the normal patterns of promotion and relegation.
Almost all the footballing league in Europe has been suspended for the next couple of weeks but now due to this decision from UEFA, there a chance that the remainder of the matches could atleast be finished behind closed doors.

As per reports, UEFA have also decided to shift the Champions League final by a month and the new date for the final is June 27th.
