Just a couple of weeks ago, Man United midfielder Fred had claimed that vanity was an issue for some of his teammates but now it looks like Bruno Fernandes is about to change it all.

Solskjaer finally got his hands on Bruno Fernandes during the January transfer window and ever since his arrival, the Red Devils have looked a completely different side.

On Sunday, the Portuguese put his name on the scoresheet once again thereby helping his new side secure a point against Everton but what he said after the match was a clear indication that the midfielder is set to become one of the big names at Manchester United pretty soon.

When a number of his teammates have been accused of a lack of commitment both on and off the pitch, Bruno Fernandes chose to criticize his won performance after Man United’s 1-1 draw vs Everton in the Premier League.

‘In the second half, we created a lot of chances and the last minutes we had some chance to score and the last one with Ighalo if he scores there now we are talking about a different situation,’ said Fernandes via Metro.

‘Also I had some shots outside of the box and I can do much better, but obviously the game goes like this, and we need to focus on the game against Derby.’

The new arrival also made it clear that he doesn’t actually care about how he scores as long as he can put the ball into the back of the net.

‘It was a shot. I am happy the ball goes in, it doesn’t matter how it goes in, the important thing is the goal.

‘You are never happy when you don’t win a game but obviously the game was really difficult and I think one point can be good, but three points would be much better.’

Bruno Fernandes has certainly made a positive impact since his arrival but watching him play during the past couple of matches, it’s clear that if the midfielder can get another like-minded player beside him then surely Manchester United will be a force to reckon with.

While Solskjaer would love Paul Pogba to be that player when the Frenchman returns back from his injury but it remains to be seen if the OT outfit can hold onto him beyond the summer transfer window.
