England suffered a rather shock defeat at the hands of the Czech Republic last week and this has led many people to believe that Gareth Southgate could make a number of changes for the Bulgaria vs England game.

The Three Lions are currently sitting on top of Group A in the Euro qualifiers while Bulgaria are languishing at the bottom of the pack having failed to pick up even a single win during their first six matches.

And since England had thumped four goals past Bulgaria during the leg round of the fixture, no one really expects the home side to conjure up any sort of challenge.

But having said that though, Gareth Southgate is expected to make a series of changes to his first XI on Monday which could mean that his players might be out of sync and in turn give a few chances to Bulgarian side.

England team news:

Jordan Pickford will keep his place in the first XI but the defensive line could see a number of reshuffles.

Harry Maguire and Michael Keane started in central defence last week but Keane is expected to move back to the bench as youngster Joe Gomez comes into the side to partner the Man United defender.

Chilwell should also get a start on Monday replacing Danny Rose at left-back while Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to replace Kieran Trippier on the right-hand side.

Declan Rice and Jordan Henderson featured in central midfield vs the Czech Republic but the duo had a rather poor outing which is why we could see the introduction of Harry Winks. This would also mean that either Rice or Jordan Henderson will drop back onto the bench.

The front line has been in fine form for England and we do not think Gareth Southgate would want to tinker with that during the Bulgaria vs England clash on Monday. This means the likes of Mason Mount, Sancho and Sterling should all keep their place vs Bulgaria.

But some reports claim that Tammy Abraham could be handed a start at Vasil Levski replacing Harry Kane upfront.
