Arsenal are going to put their full focus on signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and West Ham midfielder Declan Rice during the summer, as per a report in The Sun.

The Gunners are still holding the top spot on the Premier League table and if they can somehow win the league title then they will very easily be able to attract all the big names in Europe.

However, as per the rumours, Mikel Arteta’s transfer plan is not going to be dependent on silverware so despite their fate, Edu will go all out to sign both Declan Rice as well as Osimhen.

Both these players have been tipped to leave their respective clubs at the end of the 22/23 season but if all the other reports are to go by then Arsenal will have to really work hard to sign both of them.

Declan Rice to Arsenal?

West Ham United are expected to sell off Declan Rice even if they avoid relegation to the Championship and right now the Gunners are the frontrunners in signing him.

Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the England international but most experts believe the midfielder wants to join the Gunners.

United are probably looking at Rice as the long-term replacement for Casemiro while Chelsea are expected to sell off midfielders like Kante and Gallagher which means they will also have room to sign the Hammers man.

The North London side know exactly how much they have to pay to be able to land Rice and if they can win the EPL title then we don’t think Man United or even Chelsea will be able to change Declan Rice’s mind.

Will Victor Osimhen be ready to move to the Emirates Stadium?

The Napoli striker has set the Serie A on fire, scoring 19 goals in 21 league games so far and he’s openly admitted that he wishes to play in the Premier League.

“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well,” he recently told the media.

It’s no surprise that Arsenal are being linked with this world-class striker but Manchester United are also interested in the 24-year-old.

Erik ten Hag is really inclined to replace Ronaldo with Osimhen and United will go all out to make this happen.

Also, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that right now there is no genuine interest in Osimhen from Arsenal which just goes on to indicate that Arteta and Edu are yet to make a move.

“I don’t have it confirmed, as of now. Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, Folarin Balogun and also, Osimhen’s price tag will be really huge. I think Arsenal have different priorities for this summer, including a new midfielder,” he has written for CaughtOffside.

Declan Rice is a very genuine target for Arsenal and if they try hard, overtaking Chelsea as well as Manchester United should not be a problem. However, Victor Osimhen seems to be a highly unlikely target for the Gunners. Not only will Napoli quote a record-breaking fee for the striker but Manchester United will fiercely contest this transfer.
