According to Mundo Deportivo, AS Roma have joined the long list of suitors who are after the signature of PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.

Last week L’Equipe suggested that Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool were the frontrunners to signing the Argentine but now Pastore has himself said that he wishes to move to Italy – a country where he played before coming to Paris.

Before moving to PSG in 2011, Pastore played for Palermo and the Italian club’s sporting director at the time was Walter Sabatini – who is not at Inter Milan. And the 28-year-old attacking midfielder has openly stated he wishes to link up with Sabatini once again.

This so-called wish of Pastore clearly pushes both Liverpool and Chelsea down the pecking order. Both these clubs might see two of their star players move out of the country(Coutinho to Barcelona or PSG and Hazard to Real Madrid) and in such a scenario both Chelsea and Liverpool are out in the market looking for proper reinforcements.
