Callum Hudson-Odoi has been tipped to leave Chelsea during the ongoing transfer window but according to The Athletic, Thomas Tuchel has no plans of offloading him right now.
Inside Futbol cites the report from Simon Johnson: “Callum Hudson-Odoi will be part of Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea squad next season despite speculation over his future at the club, according to The Athletic.
“Hudson-Odoi’s future at Chelsea has been under the scanner this summer due to his name cropping up in potential part-exchange deals the club have been linked with.
“But those rumours have been quashed and it has been claimed that Hudson-Odoi is part of Tuchel’s plans for next season.”
Should Tuchel cash in on Callum Hudson-Odoi?
Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked in multiple swap deals in the past few months but it seems like the manager is willing to give him one more chance to prove his worth.
During the 2020-21 season, the winger played in 23 Premier League games out of which only 10 games came from the starting position.
Thomas Tuchel generally uses a 3-4-2-1 system which is several other first-team players can perform the exact role as Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Players like Reece James, Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech have all gotten more game time last campaign and with so many quality players at his disposal, we don’t think it’s a good idea to hold onto Hudson-Odoi.
Yes, the Chelsea academy product has a lot of potential but the manager should be smart enough and cash in on him.
Callum Hudson-Odoi still has three years left on his current deal and he’s valued at £28.8 million. So the Blues can very easily get a good enough transfer fee for him and then put that money to use in the transfer market.
