Chelsea have been busy tying down their first team regulars under new deals and the first player to put pen on paper was N’Golo Kante.
The midfielder was followed by Cesar Azpilicueta who signed a contract extension a couple of days back.
And speaking to the press earlier this week, the Chelsea manager has also made it clear that he wants both David Luiz and Cesc Fabregas to stay at the club beyond the end of the current season.
But the big question that every Chelsea fan has been asking is whether the club will be providing a new contract to Eden Hazard?
Well, Maurizio Sarri has also given an update on this, saying the club are ready with a new contract but it will be up to Eden Hazard whether he wants to sign it or not.
“The club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it’s up to him if he wants to renew or not,” Sarri told reporters.
“I want Eden here, of course, but I want him here if he wants to stay here.
“I know very well that there are discussions between the club and the manager of Eden every week, I think,” said Sarri.

“So if there is something new, the club will call me immediately.”
Eden Hazard has claimed last month that he will not be leaving Chelsea during the January transfer window but the London outfit knows very well that it will be tough for them to hold on to the Belgium international during the summer.
The first and the most basic thing that Chelsea need to do is to qualify for the Champions League next season in order for them to provide any sort of footballing incentive to Eden Hazard.
