Chelsea got back to winning ways this weekend beating Morecambe in the 3rd round of the FA Cup and next up, they take on Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Blues are winless in their last three league matches and right now they are ninth on the league table with 26 points. But the win last weekend will surely give some much-needed win to Chelsea’s sails.

Lampard made a lot of changes to his starting line-up for their FA Cup clash but he’s expected to get back his regular XI against the Cottagers at Craven Cottage.

Fulham have drawn their last 4 matches in the Premier League and we do not see them picking up anything from this game, especially since they played a rescheduled game vs Spurs on Wednesday(on a two days’ notice).

Chelsea team news vs Fulham:

Edouard Mendy was replaced by Arrizabalaga in goal against Morecambe but the Spanish international will move back to the bench vs Fulham.

Reece James is currently recovering from a thigh injury but the right-back should be fit in time to be available for selection this weekend.

Thiago Silva was rested on Saturday but will partner Kurt Zouma in central defence while Ben Chilwell returns to his left-back role – replacing Emerson.

N’Golo Kante is out with a thigh injury and the Frenchman is not expected to be fit in time for the Fulham game. This means Kovacic and Mason Mount will team up with Kai Havertz in midfield.

Billy Gilmour played against Morecambe in Chelsea’s 4-0 FA Cup win and the youngster will start on the bench at Craven Cottage. Jorginho remained on the bench on Saturday but we doubt if Lampard will use him at Craven Cottage.

Timo Werner finally put his name on the scoresheet on Saturday but there’s a big chance the German is rested against Fulham with Olivier Giroud coming into the side.

Ziyech is likely to keep his place on the right wing with Christian Pulisic expected to be deployed on the left-hand side of attack.

Hudson-Odoi played vs Morecambe in the FA Cup which is why we don’t think the forward will be used again in the starting XI this weekend.

Chelsea team news vs Fulham:

Predicted XI: Edouard Mendy; Reece James, Silva, Kurt Zouma, Chilwell; Jorginho/Kovacic, Mason Mount, Kai Havertz; Giroud, Ziyech, Pulisic/Hudson-Odoi.
