Chelsea kicked off their Premier League campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Crystal Palace, picking up where they left off last campaign.

Next up, they take on Arsenal at the Emirates this Sunday and with the kind of poor form Arsenal exhibited against Brentford, the Blues should be looking at nothing but all three points.

Thomas Tuchel has one of the biggest squads at his disposal so he has the luxury of chopping and changing his starting line-up. This means it will be really hard to predict which system or players will be used against the Gunners, especially since Romelu Lukaku has also joined the side.

But surprisingly, Chelsea do not have the best of records against Arsenal, winning just three of their 14 games in all competitions. This should give the Gunners some hope but we really do not see the Blues losing this one unless they stumble really bad.

Chelsea’s team news vs Arsenal:

Thiago Silva remained on the bench vs Palace but he should be coming back into the side this weekend. Chalobah put in a decent shift but he will move back to the bench as Christensen will operate on the right-hand side of defence.

Jorginho and Kovacic paired up in midfield but there’s a big chance that one of them is rested as N’Golo Kante comes into the side.

If the manager plays his usual formation then Reece James should be playing as the right full-back with Alonso operating on the other side. Tuchel also has the option of using Ben Chilwell but we think he will stick with the Spaniard.

Mason Mount will hold onto his place from the first weekend but Christian Pulisic is expected to move back to the bench as Kai Havertz will be handed a start.

Romelu Lukaku will be in line to get his first start of the season – if he is fully fit otherwise Timo Werner will once again be leading the line.

If Lukaku gets the nod then Werner will have to be content with a place on the subs bench.
