Chelsea picked up a solid win in the FA Cup in midweek as they beat Liverpool 2-0 in the 5th Round of the tournament and next up they take on Everton in the Premier League.

The Blues go into the match at the back of some poor league form having won just one out of their previous six matches and right now they are just about hanging onto their fourth spot on the table.

And if this wasn’t enough, Frank Lampard is currently dealing with a long list of injuries and there’s a massive chance that the Chelsea manager could be without some of his key players this Sunday at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea team news vs Everton:

Kepa returned back into goal vs Liverpool and the Spaniard ended up having a very good outing which is why we think the manager will not drop him to the bench this weekend.

Christensen remains a doubt with a knock meaning the pairing of Ruidger and Kurt Zouma will once again play in central defence.

Marcos Alonso has been one of the standout performers for Chelsea during their past couple of matches and the Spaniard too will hold onto his place in the starting XI while Azpilicueta will play at right-back.

But this formation at the back would mean that Reece James will miss out once again.

The midfield area is of the most concern for Frank Lampard sine Jorginho is suspended for this match due to an accumulation of yellow cards while Mateo Kovacic too picked up an injury during the first half of Chelsea’s first-half against Liverpool.

So with both these players ruled out, the Chelsea boss could be tempted to use young Billy Gilmour in defensive midfield after the 18-year-old put a great account of himself during the Liverpool win.

N’Golo Kante too is on the sidelines with an injury and the Frenchman is not expected to be fit in time to face Everton meaning both Ross Barkley and Mason Mount will get starts.

Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi are also ruled out for this Sunday’s encounter which is why the manager will once again have to hand Pedro a start on the wings despite the Spaniard playing the full FA Cup game in midweek.

Willian picked up an Achilles injury in midweek but the Brazilian is expected to be fit in time to be available for selection.

Tammy Abraham has gone to Barcelona to get his injury checked further and will not be ready for the Chelsea vs Everton game which gives Olivier Giroud one more chance to get some much-needed game time under his belt.
