Chelsea went down 3-0 at the hands of Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday but they will have the chance to redeem themselves on Tuesday as they take on Norwich City.

The Canaries have been relegated from the Premier League and on top of that, the Blues are undefeated in their last 16 matches against Norwich in all competitions so no one really expects the away side to pull the rabbit out of the hat in this match.

But, at the same time, Frank Lampard might have to be extra cautious going into this game since Norwich do not have anything to lose so they might very well come out all guns blazing.

Also, the rather embarrassing loss to Sheffield United will surely be playing in the Chelsea players’ minds hence the Blues boss will have to make sure that his side do not start the match on the wrong foot.

Chelsea team news vs Norwich:

Kurt Zouma and Christensen started in central defence against the Blades but that pairing clearly did not work out so Lampard had to bring in Antonio Rudiger.

On Tuesday, Rudiger will most definitely start in central defence alongside Kurt Zouma since Christensen picked up an ankle sprain during the weekend.

Jorginho clearly misfired in defensive midfield vs Sheffield United and Lampard will obviously be looking at the process of N’Golo Kante who is currently recovering from a low-level hamstring injury.

Billy Gilmour is out for the next couple of months so if Kante cannot be fit in time then Lampard will have no other option but to use Jorginho once again.

Matteo Kovacic started on the bench during the weekend but he will come into the side, replacing either Mason Mount or Ross Barkley.

Christian Pulisic could make way for Callum Hudson-Odoi after the youngster came on as a sub vs the Blades. But we will have to wait and see if the manager is bold enough to drop his most influential player.

Tammy Abraham has been underwhelming since the resumption and he will undoubtedly make way for Olivier Giroud as the Frenchman is clearly the in-form striker right now.
