Man United will make a move for this London superstar: January or next summer?

Christian Eriksen playing for Spurs

Christian Eriksen has been a key player for Spurs ever since he joined the club from Ajax in 2013 providing the necessary link between the midfielders and the forwards.

But his performance has taken a big sharp dip this season and many believe he is not interested in staying at the club any more especially with his contract expiring next summer.

Up until now, there have been no talks about a new deal and it will be safe to say that the Danish international is looking to move out of the club as a free agent.

While a number of clubs would be interested in signing Christian Eriksen as a free agent but according to various reports, Daniel Levy is not keen on losing him without getting anything in return as a result of which Spurs would take one final chance of selling him off during the January transfer window.

Real Madrid had shown an interest in signing the playmaker during the summer and it seems like they are still interested in him and will make contact at the end of the current campaign.

But now it seems like Christain Eriksen is fed up of waiting for the Los Blancos and is willing to listen to offers from another club.

And this is where Man United are planning to swoop in and sign him before Real Madrid even begin talks with the playmaker.

Eriksen is easily one of the best players in his position in the Premier League and Spurs would be keen to get a hefty amount out of his transfer.

But given that he currently has a little over 6 months left in his current deal, the North London club are in no position to negotiate an amount which means if Man United go about this tactfully then they will have the opportunity to sign Christian Eriksen at a bargain price.
