Forward Christian Pulisic was brought in by Chelsea from Dortmund in 2019 but over the past two seasons, the American international has failed to carve a niche for himself at the club.

Under Frank Lampard, he was selected on and off but once Thomas Tuchel came in, everyone was sure that things would improve for Pulisic. That though has not been the case since the forward has played in 25 Premier League games this season, out of which only 16 have been starts.

While Thomas Tuchel has been using Christian Pulisic a lot more in the past couple of months but still there have been rumours that the American international could be looking to move out of the club in the summer.

If someone like Pulisic is available in the market then a lot of big clubs will be queuing up to sign him but the 22-year-old has made it clear that he is not heading for the exit doors any time soon.

Pulisic told ESPN: “I’m obviously happy here. It has been an incredible two years.

“People have always doubted and said: ‘Oh, he’s not playing, does he want to go here, does he want to go there?’. I’m always up for a challenge.

“I love competing. I love the position I’m in and I’m enjoying my time here.”

At the start of this season, Christian Pulisic also suffered from a number of injury troubles which is why many people thought the Blues will not hesitate to part ways with him in the summer.

But things have certainly improved ever since Thomas Tuchel has taken charge at the club.

Pulisic has been getting a lot more game time under the new manager and it’s quite evident that with each passing game his confidence is also taking massive positive leaps.

Chelsea take on Manchester City in the Champions League final this month and there’s no doubt the American international will be in contention to get a starting role in this key game.
