Christian Pulisic has found it really hard to get starts under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea and over the past couple of days, there have been rumours of his moving out in the summer.

According to some reports, teams like Manchester United and Liverpool are keeping tabs on the player’s situation at the Bridge and could make a move for him if the American decides to find a new club.

Right now, Christian Pulisic is with the national side during the international break and in one of his recent interviews, the forward has admitted that his time at Chelsea has been anything but a bed of roses. And many people have since claimed that Pulisic could be enticed to move out.

“It hasn’t been the easiest thing,” Pulisic told reporters, as quoted. “Obviously, I’m a guy who always wants to play, but I think I’m on a really good path.

“I love to take on challenges. I love to, not prove people wrong, but prove myself right in a way. So I’ll just continue to work hard. Coming into camp, I’m really just excited to get more minutes and play for my country.

“Regardless of what’s happening at the club level, I’m just thrilled to be here and I’m excited to represent this crest again.’ I was in a similar situation, I think, when I first came to Chelsea, so I had to work my way and earn my position in the team and to finally get some minutes,” he added.

“I feel like I did that and I feel like I’m basically going out there and trying to do the same thing now.

“I feel very confident in my form right now and the way I’m feeling and playing, so I think I’m on a good path.”

Will Liverpool & Man United try and make a move for Christian Pulisic?

Both Man United and Liverpool can do with a player like Christian Pulisic amongst their ranks and if the former BVB star does decide to head out of Chelsea in the summer then these two Premier League giants will surely be interested.

United are actively looking for a right-sided winger and the American can be the perfect alternative to someone like the heavily-priced Jadon Sancho.

Liverpool too could lose Mo Salah at the end of this season, in which case, Pulisic can slot right in.

The 22-year-old still has three more years left on his current deal with Chelsea which is why the Blues owner will not be too eager to sell him this year itself. But Tuchel mainly uses a 3-4-2-1 formation meaning the new boss has a lot of players who can accommodate on the right-hand side of attack.

Christian Pulisic still has a few more weeks left to sort things out at Chelsea but if his situation does not improve by the end of May then teams like Man United and Liverpool will undoubtedly want to test the transfer waters in and around Stamford Bridge.

During the 2020-21 season, the American international has played in only 19 Premier League matches so far, out of which just 34% have been starts.
