Arsenal are ready to meet Leipzig’s demands and challenge Manchester United and Chelsea to the signing of Christopher Nkunku claims Football London.

Manchester United and PSG are currently two of the biggest names being linked with Nkunku but as per the rumours, Chelsea are also keeping tabs on him. Now, in a major development, the Gunners have also registered an interest even though Leipzig want £100 million for him.

Yes, RB Leipzig have slapped a price tag of £100 million on the ex-PSG and as per Football London, Arsenal are willing to meet this price tag.

Many people think the Germans are asking for such an absurd amount just to prize out the likes of Manchester United, PSG and Chelsea but as of now, this ploy isn’t working.

Will Arsenal even come close to signing Christopher Nkunku?

Christopher Nkunku had a stellar season with Leipzig, scoring 20 and assisting 13 goals in 34 league games so we can understand why three of the biggest English clubs want him on board.

However, we don’t think Arsenal stand any chance of signing the playmaker – for a couple of reasons.

The first one is that £100 million is way out of their reach. Even if they had Champions League football, it would be very hard for them to shell out such a massive fee but now that they are in the Europa League, there’s no chance the Kroenke family will agree to this arrangement.

The second reason is that Christopher Nkunku will most probably choose a move to a club like Manchester United or PSG. Chelsea will only go after him if they are planning to let Romelu Lukaku move back to Inter.

United have gotten a superb manager in the form of Erik ten Hag while Chelsea are the Champions League winners from two seasons ago so both these clubs are pretty lucrative destinations for the French international.

Arsenal might have finished above Man United last season but the harsh reality is that the Red Devils still have a lot more lure than the Gunners.

We really don’t think Arsenal will be able to pay such a steep transfer fee for Christopher Nkunku and they will be much more comfortable in trying to bring in someone like Gabriel Jesus on the board.
