Antonio Conte had an angry response to the rumours that his job is at stake and decided to classify such news as ‘bullshit’.
There have been a few recent rumours that the Chelsea management are not happy with the Italian and are thus considering appointing Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager. And when Conte was asked to clarify such rumours he came up with a furious response.
“There is a lot of bullshit,” Conte said.
“If I see the past it happened the same with a lot of managers. A lot of bullshit. They try to create problems between me, the club and the players. If someone is happy to continue to write this I answer very well in the past. I am answering very well about these different issues.”
A few reports recently claimed that a large portion of the Chelsea players were disgruntled with the Italian’s training methods and thus they had contacted Steve Holland – Conte’s former No2 in order to whine about the situation.
But no matter what Conte says but the news about him receiving the sack has been picking up wind with each passing month. And now a sort of a mediocre start to the season has added more fuel to the fire.
So will Carlo Ancelotti return to the dugout at Stamford Bridge or will Conte bring Chelsea’s title defence back on track?
