Premier League sides Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso who could be available for a bargain deal, according to Bild.
Metro cites the report: “Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso after the Bundesliga champions halved their asking price, according to reports.
“The two Premier League sides are both in the market for a new midfielder this summer, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer shelving his pursuit of right-back in favour of a new enforcer and Mikel Arteta eager to bolster the spine of his side.
“Now they could be about to face off to try and land Tolisso, with Bild reporting that Bayern are willing to sell the 27-year-old for just €10million (£8.5m).”
Man United and Arsenal to move for Corentin Tolisso?
Corentin Tolisso joined Bayern in 2017 from Lyon but in these past four years, the midfielder has failed to live up to the hype, making just 57 league appearances for the Germans.
And now since he has only one more year left on his current contract, Bayern Munich are more than ready to offload him. Also, Bayern are looking to sign Marcel Sabitzer from RB Leipzig so it makes no sense for them to hold onto Tolisso.

But despite what the report claims, we do not think Manchester United will be too interested in the 27-year-old especially since they are refusing to sell Paul Pogba this year.
Over the course of the summer, Manchester United have been linked with several midfielders but so far they have not made concrete moves for any one of them. And we believe this one will be no different.
Since Arsenal have held onto Granit Xhaka, they too should show little interest in Corentin Tolisso but the French international will any day be an upgrade to Xhaka. He could form a solid partnership with Thomas Partey, something which could help Arsenal get back into the top-four.
Also, the midfielder is available for just €10million and this might excite the Gunners to launch a bid in the coming ways. It remains to be seen though if the player will leave Bayern Munich and join Arsenal, a club who are not in Europe next season.
