The new season of the various leagues in England and Scotland are about to kick off and with that, the fans will have the chance to bets on the winners and losers.

While betting on individual matches is obviously a thing in the United Kingdom but right now various betting companies are also taking bets on the eventual winners of the various leagues.

And a report has come out which shows that an ambition man has placed a bet in such a way that if the odds are in his favour then he stands a chance to win £600,000.

A tweet has been circulating in which a mysterious gambler has placed a mere £1 on the eventual winners of the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and the Scottish Premiership.

And if all the odds are in his favour then he will cash in £603936.45.

The gambler has backed Manchester City to win the Premier League at 8/11 and Blackburn Rovers to win the Championship at 40/1.

He has also backed Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side to win the Scottish Premiership at 7/1.

His other two bets on Bradford and Crawley are long shots at 25/1 and 40/1 respectively but some fans on social media have also raised questions on whether Rangers will be able to topple Celtic FC and win the Premiership.

Some fans also feel that the level of competition in the Premier League is expected to go up as a result of which Pep Guardiola’s men will not be able to show their heroics this time around.
