Cristiano Ronaldo’s rape case has caused a huge uproar amongst the fans and a large number of them want the player to be banned from active football.
Other want the truth to come out as soon as possible and are not yet ready to brand the forward guilty.
But ever since Cristiano Ronaldo’s rape case came into light, there have been few who have come out to support the superstar and most of them have either been family or close friends.
And now Juventus’ name have also been added to the list.
Ronaldo move to Juventus during the summer and his current club have chosen to stand by the forward.
While there is nothing wrong with that but the manner in which Juve has chosen to support Cristiano Ronaldo has raised a number of eyeballs and the Italian giants have received a fair bit of backlash.
Juventus released two tweets in relation to Cristiano Ronaldo’s rape case which they said: “Cristiano Ronaldo has shown in recent months his great professionalism and dedication, which is appreciated by everyone at Juventus.
“The events allegedly dating back to almost 10 years ago do not change this opinion, which is shared by anyone who has come into contact with this great champion.”

So basically what Juventus are saying is that whatever happened, happened 10 years ago so let’s bury the hatchet and move on.
And this has infuriated the fans who have lashed out at the Serie A outfit:
This is very bad and you should delete it, apologize, apologize another time & try again.

What does him being an athletic champion have to do with his ability to not sexually assault people? What a ridiculous idea.

Ok I think I get it👍 @juventusfc – "yeh Ronaldo could have raped someone but hey! he's super dedicated & professional too! Anddd it was like 10yrs ago, so let's forget it because he's a champion🤷"
Irresponsibly glazing over the situation in the most insensitive way possible😳— Eisha Acton (@EishaMeganActon) October 5, 2018
This is possibly the worst tweet I have ever read on this platform? What the fuck is this?
