Premier League Daniel Sturridge

After six years with Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has decided that it is the right time to let Daniel Sturridge go.

The German boss has made it clear that Daniel Sturridge will not be offered a new deal at the club which means he is now free to join a club as a free agent.

After the club announced his exit, Sturridge sent out an emotional message saying: “What can I say… It’s been one hell of a ride at this beautiful club. We were together for seven seasons and took a little break in between.

“We had a lot of highs and lows together but through it all remained together knowing that one day we’d have to break up. That time is now.

“I wanna say to the fans I love you all. You made me feel so welcome and embraced me with open arms. The Sturridge dance became famous at Anfield and I’ll never forget the first time I did it in front of the Kop.

“To my teammates old and new, thank you for the memories, the banter was unreal. You all played a part in making me the man I am today. This isn’t a goodbye because Lord knows we’ll stay in touch no matter where I am, so speak soon.”

But it looks like, the forward has no shortage of takers with the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United being heavily linked with him.

Arsenal have released Danny Welbeck and reports suggest that Unai Emery is looking at Daniel Sturridge as a replacement to him.

The Magpies too are kinda short in the attacking department and Rafa wants to bring in the former Liverpool man as reinforcement during the summer.

But it seems like no Premier League club might eventually get their hands on Sturridge as the player could be on his way out of the United Kingdom.

Recent reports have suggested that Turkish club Galatasaray are eager to sign Daniel Sturridge during the summer and are willing to meet the player’s every demand.

If the talks between Galatasaray and the player’s representatives are positive then it could be bad news for both Arsenal as well as Newcastle United since they will miss a golden opportunity to sign such a fine talent – that too without paying a penny.
