Man United superstar might have made up his mind regarding his future: Bad news?

David De Gea

Man United keeper David De Gea has been one of the best keepers in the whole of Europe during the past couple of seasons. But from the last campaign, the keeper has seen a dip in form.

First, he had a really poor World Cup in 2018 with Spain and then he did not pull off any miracles for Man United during the 2018-19 season which is why many people think the club should not provide him with a new deal.

The United No 1 is out of contract at the end of the 2019-20 season, and right now multiple sources claim the club are trying hard to make him sign a new long-term deal.

It is still unclear as to why Man United have failed to bind David De Gea to a new deal but insiders claim the player will most likely agree to the new terms and sign a fresh contract.

But if this does not happen then the Red Devils will risk losing him for free next summer and Serie A giants Juventus will be the first in line to sign him up.

If David De Gea does not agree to a new deal before January 1 of next year then the keeper will be free to talk to potential suitors.

And Juventus are more than ready to approach him in case his contract talks with Man United collapse – as per reports.

This is not the first time that David De Gea will be on the verge of leaving his current club since back in 2015, the keeper almost secured a move to Real Madrid but the move collapsed during the final minutes of deadline day.

But surely, the Spaniard will not risk his career this time around and will make a decision before the 2019-20 season comes to an end.

Right now there are no signs that Man United want to part ways with him or even the keeper wanting to move out but all that could change in the next four months.

Experts though feel Man United shouldn’t sell off David De Gea in January because if they do then they will have to accept a cut-price for the keeper meaning they will have to pay money out of their own pockets in order to bring in a replacement next summer.

UPDATE:

As per the latest reports, David De Gea has told his friends that he is not too keen to sign a new deal at the club and is ready to walk away for free at the end of the 2019-20 season.

United are willing to offer a new £350,000-a-week to their premier shot-stopper but it looks like the Spaniard wants to move out of England for greener pastures.

This might be a significant development but the report comes from The Sun so before believing it straightaway we ought to wait and watch during the next few months.
