According to a report in the Mirror, Declan Rice has already made up his mind regarding his next move during the upcoming transfer window.

The West Ham United midfielder is about to enter the final year of his contract but he will look to leave in the summer and the Hammers are already preparing for a sale.

David Moyes has hinted that the club will not stand in the way if Rice wishes to leave and with Manchester United and Arsenal both eyeing a move, it’s hard to see the midfielder playing for the Hammers beyond the Europa Conference League final.

United and Arsenal will go head-on to try and land the 24-year-old but the rumour is that Declan Rice will choose to join the North London outfit, a club who have been keeping tabs on him for more than six months.

Is Declan Rice making the right choice in snubbing Man United?

Arsenal will lose Granit Xhaka at the end of the season and even Thomas Partey could be allowed to leave. In such a scenario signing a defensive midfielder is an absolute priority and someone like Rice will be the ideal signing.

For months now, it is being claimed that Declan Rice wishes to play under Mikel Arteta and it looks like that decision has not changed despite the Gunners missing out on the Premier League title.

Man United will definitely put up a fight but Rice will be much more valued at the Emirates Stadium. United already have players like Casemiro and Eriksen so it will be hard to convince Declan Rice to snub Arsenal and join them.

The West Ham United management wants around £85 to £95 million for the midfielder and this is the only stumbling block for the Gunners. Man United won’t mind paying such a steep but thankfully, Arsenal have gotten back in the Champions League so Mikel Arteta will get a much bigger transfer budget to work with.
