David Luiz has been sidelined by Antonio Conte and this has resulted in Real Madrid wanting to sign him up during the January transfer window.

Real manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he could sign a couple of players at the start of the new year and according to the Telegraph, David Luiz could very well be one of those players.

The 30-year-old showed his disapproval at being substituted during the Champions League draw against Roma and it was after this incident that things started turning sour between him and the Chelsea manager. The ego war reached a point where Luiz had to train separately at one point and was subsequently excluded from the matchday squad versus Manchester United.

Many feel that the relationship between these two have been hampered so such an extent that David Luiz will have no other option but to find a new club as soon as possible. And Real Madrid have already been alerted to this situation.

Real Madrid also have the likes of Eden Hazard and Marcos Alonso in their transfer wish list but unlike Luiz, they will only make a move for these two at the end of the campaign.
