Manchester United picked up a 2-0 win over Manchester City in the Premier League thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay.

Martial put United in front on the 30th minute but it was Bruno Fernandes who proved to be the creative spark for the goal with a piece of ingenuity.

Fernandes scooped the ball over the City players from a free-kick and Anthony Martial too responded brilliantly – putting the ball in the back of the net with a neat volley.

The goal was one of the hardest skills to achieve in football but after the match, there has been heavy doubt as to whether the Fernandes and Anthony Martial had actually practised that routine on the training ground.

And speaking about the pair hitting it off, Solskjaer has finally lift the lid over the routine which helped Man United take the lead over their arch-rivals.

The manager admitted, as quoted: “Anthony and Bruno [Fernandes] have hit it off but Bruno is that type of player.

“Of course, we’ve got set routines and I’ve seen them do it before. We’re going to improve as a team, they’re going to improve as players, because, you know, there were two or three times today, head up and we score goals.

“Twice Dan James could just square it, once for Bruno, one for Anthony. Anthony should square it for Bruno.

“Those little things they’ll come, but it’s a privilege because they want to learn as well and they listen to the advice we give them.”

Bruno Fernandes was on song for Manchester United once again and it seems like the arrival of the Portuguese has brought to life the other stars as well.

Anthony Martial has found the back of the net during the past couple of matches for Man United and it looks like the player has finally stepped up to the plate in the absence of Marcus Rashford.

Man United could have scored a few more goals on Sunday had the likes of Anthony Martial and Daniel James made some wise decisions in front of goal.
