Nicolas Pepe to replace Aubameyang Arsenal EPL
Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan Arsenal news

Arsenal won the FA Cup thanks to the heroics of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but according to pundit Rio Ferdinand, the Gabon international might be leaving the club pretty soon.

Speaking after the match, Ferdinand explained how Aubameyang spoke about his celebrations and according to the pundit, it was a sign that he is already packing his bags to leave the club in the coming weeks.

“I think he’s [Aubameyang] gone from that reaction. He’s already decided,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.

“I’m going to enjoy this with my team-mates” – he sounds like someone who is going elsewhere.

“Arsenal need to do all they can to keep him. He was unbelievable. But the Arsenal fans adore him. Is he going to find that elsewhere in his career?

“I feel there have definitely been negotiations or he’s already decided I’m going to go.

“I’m going to enjoy this moment with my team-mates and I don’t want to talk about my future.

“From my own perspective if I’m committed to the club and I know I’m staying this is a moment for me to say I’m going to sort it out it’s not done yet but I will try and get it sorted out here guys.”

While Ferdinand thinks Aubameyang will be leaving the club but Mikel Arteta, on the other hand, has hinted that the talks between the club and the player’s representatives have mostly been positive.

The manager said after the match: “Well, you asked me my opinion and that’s the feeling I get with conversations with him and his people, but obviously nothing is done yet and I want to enjoy the victory.

“Thanks to Auba again for the performance that he had and how much he helped the team.

“Everything is based on my conversations with him, how he sees his future, what I expect from him, the team that I want to build around him and the conversations I have with the people who are very influential around him.”

The Gunners are trying really hard to make the forward put pen on paper to a new deal but the 2020-21 seasons kicks off in no time at all and we have a feeling that the Arsenal manager will be eager to come to a concrete decision before the new season kicks off.
