Jurgen Klopp has been grabbing all the headlines as he ran onto the pitch after Divock Origi scored a 96th-minute winner during the Merseyside Derby.

As soon as the Liverpool substitute put the ball into the back of the net, the Liverpool boss dashed onto the pitch and celebration with goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

And for those of you who did not see the game, it was not a small infringement but rather a proper dash towards the centre of the pitch.

With this move, Klopp might just have rubbed the FA in the wrong way and many believe the German is now flirting with a touchline ban.

Obviously, the FA are still looking into this matter and there is a strong possibility that he might be let off with a fine.

But Jurgen Klopp made sure that he apologized to Everton manager Marco Silva right after the final whistle.

“Immediately after the game I apologised to Marco Silva when we spoke to each other,” he said.

“I told him how much I respect his work, because it’s incredible what he has done with that team. They are just a really outstanding side.

“Derbies are always difficult games but this was a completely different difficult to the last few years,” Klopp added.

“What can I say about it? I didn’t want to run. It was not in my plan. I didn’t want to run to Ali, I couldn’t stop obviously. Not cool, but it happened.”

Now though Marco Silva has claimed that he did not actually see the celebration and then he went on to add that Jurgen Klopp had in fact not apologised to him after the match.

“He didn’t apologise to me. To be honest, I didn’t see it, I don’t know what he did,” Marco Silva said.

“I don’t think he expected anything like that either. It was a lucky way to win but that’s football. I don’t say it was a lack of respect because I didn’t see it.

“Maybe when I see that moment I can say more about the situation.”

With the win, Liverpool maintain their two-point difference with league leaders Manchester City and up next they take on Burnley FC away from home.
