Divock Origi Liverpool

Liverpool forward Divock Origi has been pretty much useless for Jurgen Klopp in the past few seasons but several English clubs still want to sign him up.

The Anfield outfit made a great start to their 21/22 Premier League campaign, beating Norwich City 3-0 but Origi remained an unused substitute in that game.

This was a similar scene from last season when the forward managed only two starts throughout the league, playing in a total of just nine matches.

Since Liverpool have made only one major signing this summer, a lot of experts believe that Jurgen Klopp might be needing the services of Divock Origi a lot more. But the way they played in matchweek one, it’s safe to say the 26-year-old will be a benchwarmer once again. In fact, almost every bookmaker including those who bet on football at Lottoland are claiming that Liverpool are one of the favourites to finish in the top-four, banking on the trio of Salah, Mane and Diogo Jota.

So, it’s natural that Jurgen Klopp should allow him to leave before deadline day, especially with as many as three clubs interested in him.

Which clubs want to sign Divock Origi?

David Moyes is looking to bring in a long-term partner for Michail Antonio and someone like Origi will be the perfect fit. The Liverpool misfit has a lot of experience in European football and this will really help West Ham United in their Europa League endeavours this season.

Wolves are another side who have been heavily linked with the forward and this is not the first time they have tried to bring in on board. The Molineux outfit have tried to sign him at least two times in the past.

Crystal Palace’s new manager Patrick Vieira has made it clear that he wishes to add depth to his attacking departments and the Eagles are considering making a move for Divock Origi in the coming days.

Will Jurgen Klopp allow a sale?

The Telegraph have named all these three clubs in their transfer notebook relating to Divock Origi so we can safely say that all the links are pretty trust-worthy.

Jurgen Klopp has hinted that he could see the arrival of a few new signings this month and if he gets a forward then it’s almost certain that Divock Origi will be allowed to leave.

But if the management fails to bring in an attacker then the three interested sides might miss out on the 26-year-old. Xherdan Shaqiri is already expected to leave Liverpool so the manager might not risk sending another forward out without adequate backup.

Origi still has three more years left on his contract and according to TransferMarkt he is currently valued at £10.8 million.
