Premier League sides Chelsea and West Ham United will have to cough up as much as €40 million if they wish to sign Italian international Domenico Berardi.
The Sassuolo winger has caught the attention of several major European clubs thanks to his performances for Italy in the European Championship and it looks like his club are taking full advantage of it.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are quoting €40 million to let the 26-year-old move out during the ongoing transfer window.
Will the EPL clubs be ready to pay €40M Domenico Berardi?
The right-winger joined Sassuolo in 2015 from Juventus and he is currently valued at €35 million. Also, his contract with the club expires in 2024 so Sassuolo are asking for a pretty decent transfer fee.
But it remains to be seen if either West Ham United or Chelsea are ready to pay the quoted amount or not.
The Hammers already have Jarrod Bowen who plays on the same flank but since they will be playing in Europe next season, adding depth to the squad makes sense.
West Ham United do have money to spare but it will be interesting to see if David Moyes is ready to spend so much money on a player who is most likely to play in tandem next campaign.

Chelsea have a plethora of forwards who play in the same role as Domenico Berardi but as per some rumours, the Blues could let Hakim Ziyech move out on loan.
Ziyech has failed to impress during his time in England and if he is allowed to leave only then will Thomas Tuchel will ask his management to make a move for the Sassuolo winger.
The €40 million valuation is within the reach of both the Premier League clubs but we feel they will only make a move only after judging the requirements of Domenico Berardi.
