Manchester United want to sign a new centre-forward as a replacement to the faltering Anthony Martial and one of the players they are keeping an eye on is Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, as per Fichajes.
The report claims: “Manchester United continue to work on planning their squad for the upcoming Premier League season, where they hope to compete for the title against Manchester City, and the UEFA Champions League, where they hope to transcend.
“The Everton center forward is coming off a great season and would be ready to make the leap to a great team.
“Calvert-Lewin stands out for his passing game and his back, traits that Solskjaer likes a lot.”
Man United keen on Dominic Calvert-Lewin?
Everton had a really average 2020-21 season and now that Carlo Ancelotti has left the club, a lot of people think they will not be able to hold onto some of their best players.
Man United are actively looking for a replacement for Martial but they might have to battle clubs like Arsenal and even Chelsea if Everton do decide to sell him this time around.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has shown no signs of discontent of being at the Goodison but given his talent, he will be itching to play in the Champions League next season. So, if a club like Man United can come up with a good enough offer then there’s every chance that he will hand in a transfer request.
Everton are under no financial pressure to sell the England striker more so since he signed a contract extension just last year.
Man United are not expected to move for superstars like Harry Kane or Haaland so Solskjaer will either have to put his full faith in Anthony Martial or splash £65-odd million to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
