Premier League sides Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur had tried to sign Dusan Vlahovic during the summer but they had failed to pull a deal through. Now it looks like the striker could be up for sale – surprisingly during the January transfer window.

In a rather shocking move, Fiorentina is expected to cash in on the 21-year-old during the middle of the season and the Serie A outfit are already in line to bring in a replacement(despite him having one and a half years in his contract).

Football Italia are suggesting that Fiorentina are about to sign Krzysztof Piatek on a loan deal and the Polish international is going to be a direct replacement for Dusan Vlahovic.

Will Dusan Vlahovic choose Arsenal or Tottenham?

Dusan Vlahovic had been in sensational form last season, scoring 21 goals in 37 Serie A matches and this campaign he’s already racked up 16 goals in just 19 matches.

The 21-year-old is full of potential but as per the latest updates, Arsenal are definitely not the frontrunners in signing the forward since he is not keen to join them(he wants to join a side who are more ambitious).

As per the Daily Mail, Vlahovic is not inclined to join Mikel Arteta’s rebuilding process at Arsenal and his representatives are trying to make the North London side understand that a deal might not be conceivable.

Nothing has been said about Spurs’ interest but if the Daily Mail’s report is correct then Conte’s side will also face the same obstacle in trying to convince the Serbian.

Like Arsenal, Spurs also do not have European football to offer and given the level of competition, there’s no guarantee they will be playing in Europe next season(not taking into consideration the Conference League).

Tottenham wanted to sign the 21-year-old as a replacement for Harry Kane but now that the England international hasn’t left, there’s very little chance that the Fiorentina man is going to join them.

Manchester City had shown an interest in signing him during the summer transfer but we are not sure if they will return for him or not. City have sold Ferran Torres to Barcelona so in theory they should be inclined to bring in a centre-forward.

If Guardiola does reignite his interest in him then Dusan Vlahovic will not think twice before moving out of Italy and heading to Manchester but as things stand, it’s going to be a two-horse race in this transfer race.
