England suffered a rather shocking loss to Hungary during the weekend and things don’t get any easier because next up, they will face Germany.

Germany kicked off their Nations League group 3 game with a win over Italy but they should be facing a much fiercer contest from Gareth Southgate’s side.

Southgate named a very strong side against Hungary with the likes of Declan Rice and Harry Kane starting from the very first minute but due to the 1-0 loss, the England manager will surely be making a few tweaks on Tuesday night.

The England players will be eager to get things back on track at the Allianz Arena but it will be easier said than done because Germany haven’t lost in their last 10 matches plus they are unbeaten in their previous seven home games.

England team news vs Germany:

The manager had several key players missing during the weekend but some of them will be coming back against Germany.

The England boss has made it clear that James Justin and Tomori will be absent for the Germany game but Marc Guehi will be in the match-day squad.

He told the press: “James [Justin] won’t be ready for tomorrow but we are hopeful he will be back for the next game if not the one after. Marc [Guehi] should be ready for tomorrow.

“Fikayo [Tomori] we could probably put him in the squad but given it’s a hamstring we will give him a bit longer.”

Phil Foden remains out due to COVID and will miss the Germany vs England tie but Raheem Sterling should be coming back into the first XI. Sterling started on the bench against Hungary due to illness.

Conor Coady is likely to make way for John Stones as the Manchester City defender takes his place alongside Harry Maguire and Kyle Walker.

Mason Mount and Jarrod Bowen played as the two wide forwards but we expect both of them to move back to the bench. Bowen will obviously make way for Raheem Sterling and Mount will probably be replaced by Jack Grealish.

However, there’s a chance that Mount might not be pushed to the subs bench because he also has a chance to play in central midfield alongside Declan Rice.

England predicted line up vs Germany:

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

Defenders: Harry Maguire, John Stones, Kyle Walker

Midfielders: Reece James, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Mount/Phillips.

Forwards: Jack Grealish, Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling
